For every document, DIV Check issues a certificate of proof of integrity and prior existence. It holds everything needed to verify it yourself, without us: the file's fingerprint, its reference on the public blockchain and the steps to follow.
The document's content never appears in it. Only its fingerprint is processed, and nobody, not even DIV Protocol, can erase or backdate this proof.

What DIV Check establishes, and what it does not.
DIV Check establishes that a file existed, intact, at a certain date. It says nothing about the author, nor about the legal value of the document on the merits. It is not an electronic signature under eIDAS.
What the proof establishes
Integrity: no modification since upload.
Prior existence: a certain date, publicly recorded.
Permanence: nobody can erase or backdate the proof, not even us.
